Owner operator Doug Vautier has building and construction background and has been doing maintenance and repair work for over 25 years on a word of mouth and after-hours basis. In 2019, he took the plunge and started DV Home Maintenance and Repairs, working on a full-time basis in the Hawkes Bay. Working with four Pukeko Rental Managers managing around 300 houses and a private client list he has seen and repaired just about everything that needs to be fix in all ranges of homes (less work requiring under national guidelines for qualified trades such as electrical and plumbing - which he can organise as required).

From installing smoke alarms to replacing kitchens, bathrooms and leaking showers and everything in between he as a wide range of skills that can make the maintenance and repair experience simple and stress free.

Having recently moved to the Wairarapa to be closer to the family he looks forward to working with homeowners, property managers and clients in the Wairarapa including Martinborough, Featherston, Carterton, Greytown and Masterton to meet their home maintenance and repair needs (and reduce that dreaded "to do" list)
